I have just been watching a report from Ivan Gazidis on Arsenal's half year financial results and the news is VERY good!
According to him we have reduced the total club debt from £330Million in May 2009 to UNDER £190Million today!
He also says the current property bussiness is now debt free and will now be generating "pure profit" into the club which will be available for reinvestment.
A very interesting point for me is that he says we have signed 17 players to new longer term contracts which is great news for the stability of the squad and hopefully over the next year or two we will see the results of all this hard work!!
For me this is always pleasing to hear. Especially amoung talk of massive debts (manyoo and liverpool) and administration looming at pompey!
Well Done Arsenal!
ps. the video is avalable to watch free at arsenal.com where you can also download a full statement :!:

Arsenal only sign certain types of players, They will never sign a player like scott parker as he is just not their style.
Arsenal always buy players who can pass the ball so if you look at who is available in the market and then look at which ones have the very best passing ability you are looking at the players arsenal will be interested in.
Rafael Van der Vaart would slot nicely into Arsenal.
Fabregas will be staying for another season i am pretty sure, Barcelona have hung him out to dry.
They unsettled him and now dont want to cough up.
Barca are probably not ready to take him yet anyways with xavi and iniesta. They are starting to unsettle him so they can get him cheap next season. ================ [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
