[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]It just sickens me that they post an article reassuring fans that poor Ryan Shawcross wont let it effect his game, while insinuating that Ramsey was in partly to blame.
Up until now I have tried to be fair to Shawcross and sided on the err of caution with admonishing him... no one could argue that it wasnt a dangerous tackle, the only disputable fact was his intent and his response lead me to believe that there was no intent. However given that he has "vowed not to let it effect his game" I can only assume that if there was no intent, then he is as thick as fuck (I know stating the obvious a bit)... Whether it was his fault or not make little difference, of course it should affect his game... his actions have caused another proffesional football a serious injury, at the very least it should lead him to assess his own game.
However given that he has caused serious injuries at least three times so far in his short career and still has the gall to give media statements like the above, I am starting to reassess my opinion of him.
