Alves rolling around holding his ankle when clichy hadn't even touched him.

| Fucking brilliant Arsenal. Stood up and played the cunts. Song was a bit erratic but won't dwell on that, great performances all round. Wilshere and Koscielny were fucking immense. | |

| I swear my sister in law is a jinx, always joke with my Mrs that we lose whenever her sisters at our house when the match is on. Last night my Mrs and her sister get in from their spinning class 20 mins into the match, pretty soon we go a goal down, she fucks off home just before the second half, hey presto we win | |

No? Ill try find a vid, was near the end, high ball coming in Kos moves for it and messi swings a boot into his stomach, about 5/6 seconds to early to control the ball

Agree with earlier comments about Kos and Jack being Motm. I still can't believe just how well Wilshere played. Considering who he was up against that is some performance. Thought Xavi and Iniesta were pretty quiet.

Missed that one. Messi was getting clearly frustrated at Kos having the handle on him

Against the best in the World, he stood out, was not fazed and was at the heart of all the good things we did. Stopped so much of their play and created most of ours. Kos was also a rock. Nothing got past him. Heart and soul and body was in that. Was disappointed with Cesc and Nasri, although Nas was just coming back. Theo was great at the start, but drifted out of the game. Jack Wilshere - Future England captain.

Jack Wilshere - Future England captain. Can't see why you were disappointed with those 2. Played a big part in 2nd goal.

Agreed that they palyed a huge part in the 2nd goal, but.... Cesc (unusually for him) played a lot of wayward passes and did not get involved with a lot of challenges that he should have. Nasri didn't look at his best, probably just not quite match fit. A lot of their best play went down his side. With Alves pushing forward, he should have tracked more, or made himself more avalilable to stop Alves pushing. Don't blame him, he looked like a man coming back from injury. Ref was a cunt though.

| Also:
1) Was Messi offside when the 'goal' was ruled out? 2) Was it a pen from AA handball? 3) Great game from Chesney as well. 4) Pique looked immense. So different from his Manc days.

Ref was a cunt though. Stop being so negative! Please don't tell me you are saying Cesc was not up for it as was playing Barca!? Nasri did not look 100% to me. Alves was a worry, especially in first half as was always free on the right. This is Barca though and it is expected that they will have the ball and dictate for most of them game.

I personally think he was, but depends on the interpretation of the rules. Definitely not. No intent and hand was by his side. Number 1 now. Don't think so, but looks class. Thought that in the WC last summer too. With regards to previous, not saying he wasn't up for it, just saying he wasn't at his best. Had he been firing, I think we could have won by more. But it's not normal for every single player to be on top form. Well chuffed with the result, but still got a lot to do. Even if we go out, I will be proud of the performance and hopefully this will give us confidence fot the next games...

Barca know how good Fabregas is so would have looked to stop him, I am not even thinking about the 2nd leg yet, just enjoy this win for now. Ther are still favourites to progress but you never know!
