Went Millwall and found 3 grams of sniff in the floor as we were going in....quality touch!! Guttsy...I woudn't have touched it myself! Found a nice lump of weed a couple months back, smoked the shit out of it. But not Charlie (not when u don't know)...
fuck that its the equivalent of finding 150 quid on the floor, it was decent too, Millwall fans know their shit when it comes to Persians! Fair point...but I lived in Deptford for quite a while, I know what some of the Bermondsy faithful are like all too well

To that end Arsenal will announce next week they are backing a new share scheme for supporters which will allow them to save towards owning their own shares in the club. Fans will be able to buy a specially issued share for £80. When they have 100 they will be able to own their own full share in the club for £8000, with all the voting rights that go with it.
Sounds good. be quite expensive though
expensive? Yeah, about £8000.
£8000 for 1 share?
That's pretty much the going rate. Kroenke paid (I think) £7500 for each share he bought. unless you are rich who in their right mind would spend 8000 on one share Not sure I understand the point you are making? It's still an investment. Bloke I know paid about £1k for a share several years back. That share is now worth £8K. Same as buying any shares, hopefully the value will go up and give you a good return. The added benefit is, that you care about the company that you are investing in, but that is a side point.

Due to Arsenal's structure as a profit making company it's a sound investment, and something I'd look at doing. Forecasts are that the only way those shares will go is up.

We'll see a raise in the price once we clear the Stadium Debt, and when teams like Utd & Liverpool get left in the shit.

Why? The guy is a criminal, and we'd end up like every other football club, lambasted with debt, and left with that once the billionaire fucks off. Look what happened to Leeds & Blackburn. The same will happen to Chelsea, and to a further extent City. The clubs survival are solely derived by the billionaire owners.

City on the other hand will be left in the shite when the current owners get bored of mediocrity. It's not so much the funds that are plowed into the clubs for transfers, but the overheads that come with it. Abromovich makes more alone than Chelsea do, so the overheads aren't a problem. Once Abramovich goes, the overheads can't be cleared and that can only go on for so long. City will be fucked though, one way or another. Those figures just aren't sustainable unless you're a Petrol company.
