Same as buying any shares, hopefully the value will go up and give you a good return. The added benefit is, that you care about the company that you are investing in, but that is a side point.

Not necessarily, the shares won't really rocket because it's not a club that is dependant on external investment, therefore the shares aren't eratic. We'll see a raise in the price once we clear the Stadium Debt, and when teams like Utd & Liverpool get left in the shit.

It's not so much the funds that are plowed into the clubs for transfers, but the overheads that come with it. Abromovich makes more alone than Chelsea do, so the overheads aren't a problem. Once Abramovich goes, the overheads can't be cleared and that can only go on for so long.

City will be fucked though, one way or another. Those figures just aren't sustainable unless you're a Petrol company.
