The guy is a criminal, and we'd end up like every other football club, lambasted with debt, and left with that once the billionaire fucks off. Look what happened to Leeds & Blackburn. The same will happen to Chelsea, and to a further extent City. The clubs survival are solely derived by the billionaire owners.

I think Chelsea are alright now that Abramovich is more into the club.

City on the other hand will be left in the shite when the current owners get bored of mediocrity.

It's not so much the funds that are plowed into the clubs for transfers, but the overheads that come with it. Abromovich makes more alone than Chelsea do, so the overheads aren't a problem. Once Abramovich goes, the overheads can't be cleared and that can only go on for so long.

City will be fucked though, one way or another. Those figures just aren't sustainable unless you're a Petrol company.

Not sure of the terminology but hasn't abramovich taken the club debt as his own or something like that...not sure so please correct me if im wrong though

I thought that he basically bought Chelsea's debt off them and paid it off personally. I think he has done that more than once, to the tune of something like £300M last year.
