It's hard to have a look when your runnin at 100 MPH, even david beckham stood still with nobody on the same side of the pitch as him would struggle to pick out our tiny 1 or 2 players in the box with 5+ of the other team

My humble opinion is that Beckham is one of the best Right Midfielders of all time. I certainly think he would know when to shoot or when to pass, especially when there is no-one to pass to.

There's always someone to pass to when Becks has the ball.

Gotta agree with Magic from what I saw at the emirates cup, so much pace and gets plenty of space out wide, but when he crosses it it's always far to high and he never seems to look up when passing it low into the box.

Good point. But I personally like Nasri alongside Cesc, with Song behind. Wilshere could cover for either (after Ramsey).

The magic man was never the best player for Arsenal, but he was my favourite. I remember a cup game against Hereford (I think) when the cups meant something. Pissing it down. The pitch was like a bog and Merse dug out a beautiful chip from about 35 yards to score the winner. Magic.

Ramsey would be fine. Wilshere would struggle with the physical side at the moment. I'd have Eastmond over Frimpong anyway right now.

i think the critisism of walcotts performance yesterday is harsh. He put a few decent balls in yet most of the time there was no one in the box to meet them

Keepers - Not perfect, but not as bad as people think. Would love a top class keeper, but Almunia is OK ish.

Defense - Full backs fine and good cover in Gibbs and Eboue. Central, if fit 3 good centre backs. Could do with another top defender, but if they stay fit (Verm especially) then not too bad.

Midfield - Perfect, but sell Theo.

Forwards - Injury prone VP, but Cham looked very good. Good cover in Bendner, Vela, etc. Sell Arsh.

Buy - A centre back / defensive midfielder. Purely for covering Song / Verm.
