I will be.

At the moment i'm meant to be training to be an underwriter. But its such a busy department that i get fuck all training and i've spent the past 10 months clearing backlogs and chasing unpaid premiums.

So you'll be cold calling and cunting about for the first few months. Stay in touch though, if you earn a few quid I'll invest it for you.

You any good on pension funds?

Excellent. It's what we specialise in.

Got an e-mail yesterday offering me tickets to Sunderland away....may take it up depending on price.

Probably one of the best locations for you to get to.

Yeah,

Liverpool, Everton, Man City, Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Newcastle, Sunderland and Blackpool are the ones they do trips to this season, not to mention they will get 30/40 tickets for old trafford so I might get one of them as well.

The Blackpool game i think is going to be a full weekend so party in blackpool as well

Depends what scheme you're in. I'm currently transferring two schemes from Winterthur. Get a shit load of funds to invest in, but they're not actively managed like ours.

I did Doncaster away with the Gillingham boys about 2 years ago. Surprisingly, thats a fucking good night out!

So's Norwich, Portsmouth, Southampton, but they pretty much go without saying.

Basically Bould, your bog standard Pension will give you x amount of funds to invest in, but it's a fucking lottery where you go. We have our own funds, and fund managers, that are monitered externally. So, if they're shit, they get sacked. Simple.

I'd want a lot more. But I can't really afford to be too risky.

I also have 3 different pension schemes. Should / can I amalgamate them?

You've got an option to transfer. If the 3 schemes are complying, and the receiving scheme deems the risk acceptable for transfer, then all 3 pensions can go into one Retirement plan. Its basically the bulk of my job to analyse the pensions, compile the report and advise/dont advise the transfer.

Right, I'm off to get changed for the cricket. Need to put my suit on. Might need to dust it off first though.

Cunt! Enjoy.

So you deal with pensions exclusivly? i dont understand them...i put money aside each month and when i retire they begin paying it to me?

I've no idea

Not exclusively. We deal with high net worth clients, and advise them on what products they should invest in, depending on their own personal circumstances, but most of our business is through pensions.

And yes, pretty much spot on. They get various tax breaks and can generate a lot of money in retirement if used properly.
